In November 2022, Macy’s, Inc. committed to set near-term company-wide emission reductions in line with climate science with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The company will provide updates on its progress on its website and in future sustainability reports.

We require factories supplying our Private Brands to be audited by a third party at least once every 18 months and more frequently if any issues are identified. Audits are conducted using the Supplier Code of Conduct. Suppliers that are “at risk” are given the opportunity to make improvements through a formal corrective action plan process that is prepared by our third-party auditor.
